The Sox put up 13 in game 1, with 8 credited to Wei-Yin Chen. Victorino had a career game, going 3-for-3, with a pair of homers, a walk, scored 4 runs, and drove in 7 runs. 7 runs! The Sox walked away with a more subtle 4-3 victory in game two. Chris Tillman stopped the Sox and preserved one for Baltimore in the final game. This time Laser Show: Jake Peavy Weren't expecting that, were ya? Jake Peavy is 2-0 against Baltimore in his career with a 2.77 ERA, and 15Ks. Let's hope Chen will help him along with run support. Pitch Around: Chris Davis Still, the only guy standing between Miguel Cabrera and his second straight Triple Crown. Davis has hit 5 homers against the Sox this season and has driven in 11 runs. He is only batting .250, but he is getting his chances at hitting homers. At this point, might as well just walk him and deal with the next guy. Don't Fall Behind: Chris Tillman The Sox can't figure him out this season. Tillman is 3-0 in 4 starts against the Sox in 2013, with a 1.42 ER, and 24 strikeouts. We can probably just write that game off. How we see it goin' down Mathematically, the Orioles still have a shot at the division. Realistically, they don't. They do have a great shot at the wild card and they are going to be playing their asses off. We know what the Orioles can do to the Sox in September, even with nothing on the line. They are hanging on and will be playing as if their lives depend on it. The Sox may be able to squeak one out, and it is looking like game 2. Even with just one win, the Sox could still win the division during the series.
