The Red Sox go their first win of the season in Toronto to open the series following the dismal Tigers series to open the season. Pedey went deep off of Alvarez and Ortiz went 2-for-3 in the game 1 victory. Then, the bats got cold or colder, as the Sox fell to the Jays 7-3, and 3-1 in games 2 and 3 respectively.

This time

Laser Show: David Ortiz

Big Papi had a very good series against the Tigers and is bringing that average back up. Ortiz hit well for power in the series, leading me to the reasoning for this choice. Ortiz LOVES to hit in Toronto and against the Jays overall. Ortiz has 29 career home runs in Toronto, more than any other opposing ball park, and 42 overall against the Jays, more than any opponent. He also has more RBI against the Jays than any other opponent, with 137. I'm sure he is excited to be in Toronto.
Pitch Around: Edwin Encarnacion

I would normally say Jose Bautista, but he is only batting .223, so it is all or nothing for him. Encarnacion is just killing pitchers with the better average and better power numbers. His 17 homers and 42 RBI should strike fear in Sox pitchers.

Don't Fall Behind: Henderson Alvarez

Alvarez pitched well against the Sox in their first meeting of the season, with his only fault being the Pedroia home run. He is Toronto's best starter in the series and he has great potential to shut down a good Sox offense.

How we see it goin' down

The Sox were rolling in the Tigers series before the speed bump of game 4. I don't expect the Sox to slow down and they will be looking for revenge against the blue birds. The Red Sox will come out swinging and get out of last place with a series sweep of the Jays.
