Da Great White Hype:
What a performance by Josh Hamilton last night during the Home Run Derby at Yankee Stadium. Not only did Josh increase the population of white (and sometimes gold) balls in souvenir city, but he also managed to inspire a nation. Last night, we even found out through Joe Morgan that the hardest thing about kicking a heroin habit is "readjusting to major league pitching after three years." Interesting. His story is well documented, and despite sitting out of baseball for 3+ years due to drug/alcohol dependency, Josh is having an outstanding first full year in the bigs.
Josh Hamilton has inspired me to become a superstar athlete. Following his formula of success, I will now start using heroin...

While blowing lines of that snow....

And taking frequent trips to batting cages...

Oh, and finding Jesus somewhere during that time...
