The Red Sox and Yankees are both dealing with injury-related storylines as they meet in the Bronx this weekend, but New York is probably a little more optimistic about its situation than Boston will be.
With Jacoby Ellsbury scratched for the Sox on the same night that Kevin Youkilis and Mark Teixeira return for the Bronx Bombers, it’s hard not to think the Yankees might be better off at the moment. Then again, the Yanks did just fine without their injured guys, so it’s easy to hope the Sox can do the same thing.
