This may seem like a preposterous idea and there really should be no reason to write about this, but isn't there the slightest chance that Yankees 3rd basemen Alex Rodriguez is a switch hitter? And i don't mean on the baseball field.
While there is no documented evidence of this, perhaps theory alone is enough to get people to scratch their head and wonder that perhaps this can be possible. Over the last year, AROD (For his sake I won't call him by his "other" nickname) has been seen a canoodling with manly strippers, getting a divorce from his gorgeous wife, and sneaking up to Madonna's room late at night.
Others have tried to prove the point that AROD is either gay or bisexual by bringing up ridiculous argument points. Firstly, one sports article I have read says that there is a Youtube video of a politician advocating gay marriage rights and his name is Alex Rodriguez. This, of course, is just a coincidence and has nothing to do with AROD's real homosexual tendencies.
Now after reading the first few paragraphs, someone may say that Madonna is an attractive, elder female and they would love to be sneaking up to her room at night. I, on the other hand, think Madonna is a bit too muscular for my taste and should be for most men. Have you seen her biceps????? I am not a small guy but i think she could take me in an arm-wrestling contest. Is that what her and AROD do in her apartment? Arm-Wrestle? Probably not, which is why AROD is probably into both women, manly women, and men.
Don't get offended by the idea that Rodriguez can be interested in the male specimen. There is nothing wrong with that by any means and in fact in today's society, it would be congratulated if AROD were to admit to this sort of activity. I haven't quite yet explained some of my reasoning for even thinking that this could be possible. So let's get into it?.
This past season, Rodriguez was forced to sit out the Mother's Day game, in which all players use a pink bat to commemorate this feminine holiday. AROD, who sat out due to injury, joked after the game about how he didn't get the chance to use the pink bats and how people would've been making fun of him for it. My question is, where did all of this come from? There was no provoking of AROD to make these comments and here he is poking fun at himself about something that was never brought up to him beforehand. He seemed defensive in this interview, perhaps giving us a little bit of insight into his state of mind during this time.
An on-field example of AROD's feminine mystique dates back to the 2004 ALCS against the hated Boston Red Sox. In game 6, Rodriguez was batting in a big spot and rolled one right to Red Sox pitcher Bronson Arroyo. On his way to tag Rodriguez, Arroyo felt a limp arm hit the ball out of his mitt. It was AROD's flailing arm that pulled this bush league play. After being called out for interference, AROD stood on second base with his hands in a somewhat, "What did i do"? position. This was one of the more "Lance Bass" types plays in the history of the game.
While there are more arguments to be made for this case, I will leave you with one more. While he was in Seattle and Texas, there was nothing heard about Rodriguez's personal life. I understand not hearing anything about him in Seattle (which is probably where Jimmy Hoffa is buried), but while he was in Texas, AROD was the best player in the game, one of the brightest stars and more popular players, yet we didn't hear much about his personal life. Maybe he didn't want people to know what or who he was doing while he was in the Lone Star State. If i can hear about Najeh Davenport's sexual escapades, then I should be able to know what AROD is doing behind closed doors.
By no means is any of this remotely fact, but you can't eliminate the possibility that it's possible, and perhaps even likely. In this day and age, where sexual boundaries are being tested and people are becoming more and more open to different sexual ideologies, the chance of AROD being gay or bisexual isn't too outrageous. Maybe we are all waiting for the day Rodriguez calls a press conference where he needs to get something off of his chest. Lord knows that I am waiting for it, shouldn't you be too???
