Is Barry in physical danger as he pursues the record?

This guy seems to think so. He talks about the movie, The Fan, starring Robert De Niro and Wesley Snipes, in which a free-agent slugger comes to San Francisco in the early 90s after signing a monster contract. Sound familiar? Fortunately for Barry, he did not struggle like Snipes. All he did was win the MVP his first season and help the G-Men win 100 games. Interesting article though. I don't think he's in danger, but there are some whack-jobs out there so who knows.
