Chris Coghlan won the rookie of the year award for the Florida Marlins a couple years ago. He missed a large chunk of the past season for…throwing pies around, and now he’s being told he’ll be in contention to play center field this year. The question I pose- is he ready for that job full time? Look Coghlan is a great athlete and has played multiple positions for the Marlins, but center field is a whole different beast. Another potential problem is that Florida isn’t know for having a small outfield. It’s huge! Does Coghlan have the range to play there everyday? Is his knee healthy enough? They’re gonna need Coggy to play well out there. Is he ready?
