With the Brewers in the need of starting pitching could Jarrod Washburn be a guy the Brewers want to look at.  Washburn sat out the 2010 campaign and wants to make a comeback in 2011. He is from western Wisconsin and would prefer the Brewers or Twins to make his comeback.  Washburn knowns the manager well from his time playing for the Angels. The key with Washburn is how much money he wants and what he is willing to do to get it. The Brewers may only offer a minor league contract with the chance to make the ball club like they did with Jim Edmonds last season. In parts of 12 seasons, Washburn is 107-109 with a 4.10 ERA.  Talking to him and see what he is looking for should at least be done. He can’t be any worse than some of the starting pitching Brewers fans have endured the last few years.
