Grady Sizemore, Travis Hafner, and Joe Smith are all back.

Asdrubal Cabrera could be back this weekend, Aaron Laffey back rather soon. Perhaps the re-birth of Fausto Carmona?

All of it is coming together..

But for what?

Jose Veras going to save things too right?

I don't know.. We've got some relevant news going on that I need to chime in about.

And boy those Knicks fans are just ruthless aren't they?

I know everyone in Cleveland's going to be talking about the artist formerly known as The Big Shaqtus coming to town, but I need to point out the trade my slightly insane Orlando Magic made. I don't know how I feel about us giving up a future clutch stud in Courtney Lee for an aging Vince Carter, especially with us possibly losing Hedo Turkoglu.

This is baseball we talk here though. So Shaqtus to Cleveland, Vincanity (does anyone still call him that?) to the Magic Kingdom, and Jose Veras to the bullpen from Hell.

Fausto Carmona was scheduled to make an unexpected start for Lake County tonight, but if it's doing what it did here in Lake County, that won't be happening.

And thunder just rocked the house, for reals.

Apparantely the game is underway and Carmona has thrown one inning, striking out two and walking one.

Minor League News... Nick Weglarz and Carlos Santana will represent the Indians at the XM Futures Game on July 12th, before the All-Star Game.

Weglarz and Santana will both play for the World Team. You might be saying, well I know Santana isn't American, but Weglarz? Yes Wegz is Canadian, so he will not play for the US.

Wow how about the bomb Victor just hit to dead-center? Well over 400 feet.

Anyway, we've discussed Wedge and his attitude toward his job security before, haven't we? It doesn't change jack about the guy and he's always aware that he's going to be the target and he welcomes and expects that.

"I get the questions pretty consistently right now, whether it be TV, radio or print," Wedge said. "It just comes with the territory. Right now, my only focus is to win this game, win this series, get our bullpen figured out and try to get some of these guys back and healthy. I don't spend any energy on [thinking about job security] unless I have to. I know exactly where we're at."

So I guess I don't have much tonight. Hopefully back up and running tomorrow and Saturday a lot more than I have been the past two days. Evening work and then just dead tiredness, as I expected.
