Yes, Furcal probably blew this game for Lowe with his error in the bottom of the 6th inning. After that, Lowe looked unnerved (which is partially his fault) and then proceeded to give up 2 home runs. If Furcal makes that play, I firmly believe Lowe keeps on rolling.
That said, the blame is not all on Furcal. The Dodgers still didn't generate many scoring chances, and they didn't take advantage of the chances they did get. Besides, 2 runs is not going to win many games in the first place.
Now that the Furcal stuff is out of the way, here are some other random thoughts from yesterday.
