Found May 19, 2013 on My Sports Rumors:
If you ever watched a Major League Baseball game then you know that the bullpen can be a very entertaining place, especially when your team is winning a lopsided game. Well in yesterdays Tampa Bay Rays / Baltimore Orioles game Jake McGee had to find a way to entertain himself. McGee was hoping to get into the game but after a six run ninth inning there was no need for him, so he found something else to do. McGee’s definitely got no shame in his game. Yes, it’s something we all do (don’t lie) it’s always hilarious when someone gets caught. Especially when it’s caught live on TV.

Kevin Gausman, MLB Ready?

Rick Peterson looked on from the Bowie Baysox’s dugout as Kevin Gausman stated his case. The Orioles’ prized right hander decimated the Trenton Thunder over six innings, strike outing ten and allowing few well hit balls. With Baltimore four games behind the American League East division leaders and their rotation in shambles, expect Gausman to earn a promotion after the super...

Showalter may think twice arguing call

A bit of posturing on the part of Orioles manager Buck Showalter cost his team two bases and a run Sunday, after Showalter argued that a double by Matt Joyce should have been called foul -- and it was instead ruled a home run after review. The play happened with one out in the top of the sixth inning, with the Rays leading 2-1. Joyce, a left-handed batter, hooked a line drive down...

Speaking on behalf of the Yankiverse, we face Freddy Garcia tonight in Baltimore, and you better believe there will be some whining if we lose

I thought this was a misprint, or an Oxycontin flashback from 2011. Freddy Garcia is pitching against us tonight. Yes, that Freddy Garcia. The Chief. He's still alive. He's still pitching.Listen, I have nothing but respect for The Chief. He pitched well for us - in fact, one of his best outings came in a must game against Baltimore. But two years ago, he was on his last legs...

Buck Showalter, Joe Maddon Both Argue Call as Replay Awards Home Run to Matt Joyce (Video)

While MLB grapples with the idea of expanding instant replay in the wake of a series of umpiring gaffes, the oddities in its current replay policy were thoroughly exposed on Sunday afternoon. During the top of the sixth inning, the Rays’ Matt Joyce hit what umpires initially ruled as a double to right field. After the ruling on the field, both Orioles manager Buck Showalter and...

Matt Moore becomes youngest lefty to start 8-0 since 1917

Matt Moore is making quite a name for himself early in the 2013 season. The 23-year-old lefty improved to 8-0 on Sunday as the Tampa Bay Rays beat the Baltimore Orioles 3-1. In doing so, Moore became the youngest left-handed pitcher to start a season 8-0 since Babe Ruth did it as a 22-year-old in 1917. Fun fact: Ruth made just $3,500 that year, and went 24-13 with a 2.01 ERA. Moore...
