Jay Gibbons is in line for a P.T. boost for the Los Angeles Dodgers

33-year old lefty swinging outfielder Jay Gibbons is in line for a boost in playing time with Scott Podsednik down for the year. Gibbons has played in 27 games for the Dodgers this year and he is 15 of 46 (.326 avg, 1.032 OPS) with 8 runs scored, 5 homers and 15 RBIs. Gibbons will try to finish strong for the Dodgers as he tries to revive his career that was almost cut short when his name appeared on the Mitchell Report for use of PEDs a couple of years ago.
