From Sportress of Blogitude:

On Thursday night at Kauffman Stadium, the Kansas City Royals were celebrating the first of eight games on the home schedule that are designated as “Frenchy Quarter” games in honor of the team’s right fielder, Jeff Francoeur. For $21 (which just so happens to be Francoeur’s number), fans receive a “Discounted ticket in Outfield Box just beyond Right Field, Jeff Francoeur’s cheering section, a Frenchy Quarter T-shirt and blue Mardi Gras beads."
Not only that, if things keep going they way they did Thursday night when the Royals faced the Yankees, fans who cheer on Francoeur from French Quarter will also receive some fringe benefits: like the right fielder tossing a ball into the stands with a $100 bill wrapped around it and a note that read “buy some beer on me,” an awesome event which is documented in the video below.
You may have heard that this isn’t the first time Francoeur has ingratiated himself to folks in the stands. Last season, during a game against the Oakland A’s at the Coliseum, Francoeur threw a $100 bill into the right field seats with a note that instructed the A’s fans to buy bacon or beer with it.
The gesture became known as “Bacon Tuesday”, which was once again celebrated this April when Francoeur and the Royals visited Oakland. Only this time, a member of the Royals staff delivered 20 personal pan pizzas to the crowd with a note from Francoeur that read, “”Right field bleacher crew, keep making bacon.” Ha.
And now, the hometown fans were the benefactors of Francoeur’s charitable spirit, something I imagine will continue on each and ever “Frenchy Quarter” game.

That was a very nice gesture that will go a long way with baseball fans. Imagine, the thought of a muliti-millionare actually giving something back to the "little" people who pay the salary he receives to play a .....game....?
