Our friends over at TotalSportsBlog.com sent us this gem of a jersey that his Dad was wearing yesterday. That’s right, his dad was rocking a Ty Wigginton New York Mets jersey. In case you are wondering, Wigginton hasn’t played for the Mets since 2004 and only spent 2.5 years there to start his career. Hopefully this is the start of a new revolution where Dad’s everywhere opt to wear the jersey of mediocre players that are no longer on your favorite team instead of wearing “World’s Best Dad” t-shirts.

Turner has been on the disabled list since May 29 with a right ankle sprain and ligament damage in the foot.
