With all of the injuries that the Blue Jays (hell…the whole league, really) have endured so far in ’11, it can be hard to remember that some of our players are actually getting healthier for a change. There is some good news on that front though, as starting pitcher Jesse Litsch has finally made progress on his injury recovery, making it through a couple of bullpen sessions this week and preparing for a rehab assignment in the near future. Litsch has been sidelined with a right shoulder impingement since May 20th, when he landed on the DL after struggling in a start the day prior. There was some concern about Litsch’s potential return date being significantly delayed after the right-hander reported no progress into June, but that he finally threw off the mound this week is a good sign.
