It’s not too often that you see someone show genuine excitement inside Miami’s Marlins Park.
One of those rare moments of euphoria took place Saturday night, when Giancarlo Stanton launched one of his patented mammoth home runs and Jose Fernandez, the Marlins’ young ace, proceeded to unleash a wild celebration on the dugout’s top step.
Stanton’s bomb tied the game at 1-1 in the bottom of the ninth, taking Fernandez off the hook, and the Marlins went on to beat the Nationals in 10 innings.
