Josh Beckett’s no-no-hitter

I’ll always remember last night fondly as the night Josh Beckett didn’t have a no-hitter. I’ll never forget where I was, at the Stadium in Southie, battling our way to a lousy finish at pub trivia. (We captured first last week, and as my Sox and Celts know, it’s hard to repeat.) I was working my way through a burger and my second Guinness, and I was glued to the TV watching Beckett fail to get a no-hitter.
