Nats' Win Is Worth 2 Grand - The PostWillingham smashes two grand slams - The Wash. TimesI guess it was about three weeks ago (against Houston I believe) when someone on Twitter came up with a funny nickname for OF Josh Willingham -- Ham Solo. Willingham had hit about ten home runs so far in the season, all of them solo. Naturally, just about as soon as I saw that nickname, he hit his first multi-run homer of the year. Entering last night, only 2 of his 14 homers were with men on base. His 15th and 16th homers came with the bases full though -- two grand slams in one game! That happens less frequently than perfect games. They were the difference in the Nats 14-6 victory in Milwaukee. Adam Dunn nearly hit a grand slam before Willingham, hitting a ball into the fourth deck, but foul.
