Dodgers Locker:
The Dodgers gave 31-year old righty swinging 2B/3B Juan Uribe a very nice contract over the winter. He played in 148 games for the Giants last year and he was 129 for 521 (.248 avg, .749 OPS) with 64 runs scored, 24 homers, 85 RBIs and 1 stolen base. The Dodgers figured that Uribe would give them some pop in the batting order while playing 2B for them. It just hasn’t worked out that way so far this year. Uribe has played in 51 games for the Dodgers so far this year and he is 38 for 177 (.215 avg, .602 OPS) with 12 runs scored, 3 homers, 22 RBIs and 1 stolen base. The Dodgers need Uribe to pick up the pace with the bat as they are having big time troubles scoring runs right now.
