It looks like Julio Franco has been forced out of MLB yet again. Franco has always dreamed of playing in the Majors at age 50. Currently at age 49, Franco has returned to the Mexican League to try to keep the dream alive.

  • I, for one, am glad that Franco gets to play until he's 50. The man is a heck of a ballplayer and probably the best contact hitter I've ever seen. He knows how to work a count and has great character as well. Glad to see he's still making money playing the ball.

    I want him in the Braves organization coaching after this season.
