Keepers of the Faith...

In normal fashion Red Sox Nation is in tatters over there 1-3 deficit to the Cleveland Indians. Every player, every comment, every move (or non-move) is under the watchful eye of RSN. And all I can do is sit back and listen to every Armchair GM in RSN and laugh. My friends the world is not ending and more importantly my faith and yours as a Red Sox fan should not sway. This is the Boston Red Sox...if you have been a fan for a long time you understand that it's definitely not over until the last out. Faith as defined is confidence or trust in a person or thing. I am confident in the Red Sox to give there full effort and come out with win. It is too easy to have 20/20 and to easy to jump of the bandwagon like so many in Red Sox Nation do when they hit a little adversity. Frankly I am glad some of you do because it shows who is a real Boston Red Sox fan. Adversity may be the best thing for this team. Makes em' play with their backs against the wall. But it is still just a game and win or lose I am and will always be a Red Sox fan. GET OFF MANNY'S BACK!! He has played far and above what everyone expected he would do in these playoffs. No lack of effort, no lack of hustle, and no lack of production. The bottom half of the line-up could use a little of that. I'll tell you what if it was me and I had a choice between playoff A-Rod and playoff Manny I would take Manny every time. And anyone who says that they would not want him and his production in there line-up is a straight up liar. And here we are tonight what for me I hope is a prelude not and ending to a great season. If we win back to Boston and If we lose, we lose to a good team folks because if they weren't they wouldn't be in the playoffs. Keep The Faith, GO SOX! -Michael S.
