Latest addition to the every growing stable of minor league options is Oscar Villarreal. The 28 year old Mexican right-handed pitcher is still regaining strength from last April's Tommy John surgery, but should he heal nicely, would add decent depth at Lehigh Valley. He missed all of the '09 season due to injury. Over 6 MLB seasons he's pitched mostly in relief with Atlanta, Arizona, and Houston racking up 336 innings in 245 games with a 3.86 ERA and 1.37 WHIP.____________________________________________________Copycats: We all know the Mets are jealous of the Phillies success, but now they're taking their wanna-be status to the next level...in 2010 there will be a McFadden's at Citi Field...pathetic. The booze and food will help ease the fans grief, but it sure as hell won't help the team win ball games.
