Michigan Sports Center:
Kevin Grady is currently in jail on a seven-day sentence for violating his probation in more than one way. Grady was convicted of a drunk driving charge last year and managed to avoid jail time. After basically ignoring his probation, however, that was no longer possible.
Original Story:

Court officials said he failed to properly report to probation agents in Ann Arbor, failed to complete a victim impact panel and alcohol highway safety education class, failed to complete 24 hours of community service and tested positive for opiates, a type of pain killer. At this point, I think it is time for Rich Rodriguez to boot Grady from the team. Grady's first strike was the drunk driving conviction last year, and he was already suspended for that. To ignore all of the requirements of your probation simply shows that you don't care. Grady had his second chance already, and as far as I'm concerned, it's time for Grady and Michigan to part ways.
