Jon Heyman of SI.com, reported that in addition to the Braves, the Phillies, Red Sox, Brewers and Angels are all interest in signing Lowe, however none of them have reportedly made any offers as of yet. On Friday, Derek Lowe and Scott Boras stated that they are looking for at least $16 million dollars per year and that they rejected the Mets $36 Million/3-Year offer. Lowe said that he considered himself as good as A.J. Burnett and that he expected to be paid like him.
