Found April 18, 2010 on NY Baseball Digest:

Toronto Pitcher and author Dirk Hayhurst joined me during the second hour of the show to talk about his just released book “The Bullpen Gospels.”

Dirk started his literary career on the floor of his grandmother’s basement while playing minor league ball. Many may be fans of his column in Baseball America called “The Non Prospect Diaries,” his work became so popular that several newspapers, including his hometown The Canton Repository, and eventually led to the book deal.

Hear him talk about why he got into writing, the grind of minor league baseball, the career crossroads he has faced, and finally making his debut in August of 2008. We also will talk about “The Garfoose” which is Dirk’s popular moniker over on Twitter.
