Found April 18, 2010 on NY Baseball Digest:

Since there is a game tonight I will be hosting another AM edition of the Weekly Digest.

Today I kick off the program with author Dan Schloosberg who just released “The 300 Club: Have We Seen the Last of Baseball’s 300 game winners?” We will talk about the art of winning 300 games, if it can be done anymore, and if so who he thinks has a chance to be the next 300 game winner.

Howard Megdal of SNY joins me to discuss a myriad of topics from the week in baseball. We recap the 20 inning marathon in St. Louis last night. Can this game change the Mets season? I will tell you why the message being sent to the team is still wrong and why I think Wally Backman should manage the club.

CC Sabathia is off to a fast start, which ties in well to the Schloosberg interview (you will see why) and we talk about fan booing (again) and why the treatment of Javier Vazquez is unfair. I am sure our buddy Craig Carton’s name might come up in this segment.

Of course, from 9:20 to the close of the show we will take any calls while we talk about the Mets and Yankees at 646-716-8187.

The Bullpen Gospels

An hour after the show the second hour will be uploaded to the radio archive as you will hear an extensive interview I conducted with Toronto pitcher and author Dirk Hayhurst. Dirk’s book “The Bullpen Gospels” was just released. It talks about the other side of the baseball dream for, as Dirk calls himself, a “non prospect.” Here his story which is a combines some commonsense lessons with his own style of humor and personality.
