Bleacher Report:
Over the course of Major League Baseball history, several trades have played a major role in lifting teams to a World Series championship.
In one of the most lopsided deals of all time, the Boston Red Sox acquired Jason Varitek and Derek Lowe from the Seattle Mariners for Heathcliff Slocumb in the summer of 1997.
