Magic Johnson and Joe Torre have made the cut and are among the finalists to be the new owners of the Los Angeles Dodgers.

An investment group led by former Lakers star Johnson, a group led by developer Rick Caruso and former Dodgers Manager Joe Torre, and East Coast hedge-fund giant Steven Cohen made it to the finals.

Blackstone Advisory Partners, the investment bank handling the sale for outgoing owner Frank McCourt notified at least eight bidders that they’ve advanced to the final round.
