Indians 13 Rays 2 (Box)
The Indians had lost 10 straight games. Think about that for a second. They hadn't won a baseball game since June 27th when they beat the Reds. They have suffered 3 consecutive sweeps. Tampa Bay has the best record in the league. No brainer right?
That's why this is baseball I guess. The Indians pounded out extra base hits including homers from Dellucci, Francisco, Blake, and Choo. Shin-Soo also picked up his first triple since the '06 season.
Rafael Perez dominated his 2 innings of work, as if to say "thanks for letting me warm up and not letting me throw a pitch last night Wedge." (Alright, I may be imposing my will there.) Perez did strike out 2 hitters and only threw 15 pitches to get 6 outs.
