Last night, the Los Angeles Dodgers made Manny Ramirez a new offer that was reported as one year at $25 million dollars. The philosophy behind the move was that Manny Ramirez would get the $25 million annual salary that he was looking for in 2009, and then he could try his luck again in free agency next off season, when hopefully the economy is improved.
