Eli's MLB Rumors:
ESPN.com is reporting that the Mariners are stepping up their pursuits for free agent outfielder Ken Griffey Jr. Griffey hit .249 with 18 HR last season in 149 games between the White Sox and Reds, and played his first 11 seasons with the Mariners. It will be a great reunion for longtime Mariners fans who saw Griffey hit the first of his 611 (and counting) homeruns. This story was approved by MLB Rumors.
