MIAMI -- Mark Buehrle pitched seven strong innings for the Miami Marlins to beat Cole Hamels and the Philadelphia Phillies, 3-2 on Saturday.

Giancarlo Stanton homered and drove in two runs for the Marlins, who have won three straight for the first time since May 28-30 when they swept Washington.

Buehrle (7-8) allowed two runs and struck out seven.

Mike Bunn pitched the eighth and Heath Bell recorded his 16th save in 20 opportunities by pitching a 1-2-3 ninth.

Hamels (10-4) pitched seven innings and allowed three runs as he lost to Miami for the third time this season. Hamels has a 5.21 ERA in the three starts.

Hunter Pence homered and had three hits for the Phillies, who have lost four straight.

Pence's home run in the seventh off Buehrle cut the deficit to 3-2, but the Marlins held on for the win.
