With their tiny budget, the Florida Marlins have to almost always buy low when it comes to free agency. On Friday, they made another such move when they inked reliever Derrick Turnbow to a one-year contract. In 2007, Turnbow had 33 saves and only three blown saves while with the Milwaukee Brewers. That season, he had a 4.63 ERA and 84 strikeouts in 68 innings. Since that point, however, Turnbow has virtually disappeared from the baseball world due to an injured shoulder.
