Marquis booed, told he sucks by Cubs fans, then shuts the Cubs down

It’s hard to be the least bit upset that Jason Marquis was as good as he was against the Cubs today. On Opening Day the friendly confines booed the former player who was a part of 2 division championships and today in his first at-bat some clowns yelled “You suck” right before he lined a single to CF to score the first 2 runs for the Rockies. The game-winning RBI. The Cubs just couldn’t hit. At all. then in the 9th they get the first 2 on against the Rockies closer at which point the ball gets away from Iannetta by like a few feet and Fontenot is thrown out by 35 feet trying to take 3rd. Probably the dumbest baserunning fuck-up I’ve ever seen in my life. That made Moises Alou look like Rickey Henderson. Rich Harden was dominating in the 1st as he struckout the side, but then took 36 pitches to get through the 2nd and 50 to get through the 3rd. He ended up striking out 7 of the 9 men he retired, but he didn’t retire that many batters. He allowed 4 earned runs. Patton came in and was followed by Vizcaino, Cotts, and Guzman. Guzman allowed a run in 2 innings, but the others pitched scoreless innings. What the fuck was Mike Fontenot doing? That’s just dumb. That should count as a dozen TOOTBLANs.
