You just can't make this stuff up. This is exactly why some athletes should have blogs instead of talking to reporters. That way they can at least read over their work. So they can make sure they don't do silly things like, you know, use "your" instead of "you're", mispronounce someone's last name, or accidentally say that they like to have their asses hammered by their teammates...

Stairs words were taken out of context but who cares Phils still won so kiss Matt Stairs big gay a** lol
  • oh, jeez...let me help you understand something - sometimes when quotes are intentionally taken out of context, it can be somewhat humorous. people, especially bloggers, occasionally like to point out these kinds of quotes to the general public, hoping that it might make them laugh. bring a little sunshine into their lives, maybe.

quit this ridiculous philly pride thing and just laugh at the damn joke. i made fun of him talking about getting hammered in the ass; i didn't say the phillies sucked.
  • hahaha....i laughed at it happy? lol but seriously i thought its humourous... when a guy who usually doesnt get any media attention finally gets some and says something dumb A LA Freddie Mitchell a few years ago!

    GO PHILS!

AND IF STAIRS ENJOYS BEING HAMMERED I THINK SAN FRAN MIGHT BE A GREAT SPOT FOR HIM WHEN HE DECIDES TO RETIRE NO OFFENSE TO ALL MY PPL IN THE BAY AREA.....
