We all knew the streak that the Marlins have been putting together lately had to come to an end at some point and it did Tuesday night as the Atlanta Braves defeated the Florida Marlins 7-1.
Brian McCann and Dan Uggla combined for six RBI and each blasted a home run to give the Braves the victory.
Florida’s Brad Hand drops to 1-7 on the year and has now lost his fourth straight start. He allowed three runs on seven hits in 5 1/3 innings.
Emilio Bonifacio provided the lone Marlins run in the the fifth inning.
The series comes to an end on Wednesday.
