According to George King of the New York Post the Yankees expect Melky Cabrera back in the lineup tonight against Cleveland.
Melky has been a huge asset to this team defensively and offensively. Now they can give Nick Swisher, Johnny Damon or Hideki Matsui a day off. Hideki Matsui is really taking up the DH role. He doesn't even run hard out the box and may be losing out on some extra base hits. Those knees are killing him!
Swisher hit .150 in May by going 12-for-80, although he has hit safely in five of his last six games.
Damon has a bruise and cut on his thigh from slamming into the wall in Texas.
