Mets ace/their only hope Matt Harvey is living the dream life right now.
Despite his team being on one of the worst in baseball, he’s emerged as a diamond in the rough to capture the attention of the biggest sports town in the country and has taken the sport in general by storm.
Off the field he’s doing even better. He’s been reportedly dating SI model Anne Vyalitsyna, the two were said to have met in an elevator during a Rangers game, where they exchanged numbers. Reportedly the two have been taking things slow because of their busy schedules.
Currently Harvey is putting up Cy Young worthy numbers at the age of 24. He’s sporting a 5-0 record, a 1.93 ERA and 74 k’s in 70 innings pitched.

With the way Matt Harvey is pitching to begin his career he is drawing comparisons to some of the greatest right-handed starting pitchers of all-time.
“Harvey is a modern day Roger Clemens,” said MLB analyst Mitch Williams on the MLB Network.
Sports Illustrated compared Harvey to a young Dwight Gooden and White Sox manager Robin Ventura compared him to Justin Verlander...

It's now an understatement to say New York Mets ace Matt Harvey is having a super year.
Sure, the right-hander is 5-0 with a 1.93 ERA and 74 strikeouts (through Friday), but did you see who the 24-year-old, second-year pitcher is rumored to be dating?
None other than supermodel Anne V, the 27-year-old Russian-born model, whose full name is Anne Vyalitsyna, who has been in nine...
The Braves will miss Mets ace Matt Harvey again
The Atlanta Braves will try to extend their four and a half game lead over the Washington Nationals this weekend when they play the New York Mets, and the schedule maker and a little luck are on their side.
For the second time this season, the Atlanta Braves will miss Mets pitching phenom, Matt Harvey. Harvey is 5-0 on the season...
Maybe the New York Mets can't put enough runs on the board for Matt Harvey during the game, but at least the team's ace is scoring big time off the mound on his own.
The Mets' undefeated pitcher was spotted picking up another "V" Thursday night at Madison Square Garden during the Rangers playoff win against the Boston Bruins — that's V as in Anne V...
Matt Harvey is still undefeated ... in two sports.
Harvey, as you know ... and partially thanks to Rick Ankiel's triple on Wednesday, is 5-0 in 2013. Also, he's 7-0 in the stands as a fan of the New York Rangers, with no game being more important than the one the Rangers played on Thursday, a 4-3 overtime victory which saved their season for at least two more days.
When PECOTA released their preseason major league projections earlier this year, there weren’t many surprises to be found in the National League East: The Washington Nationals were projected to once again top the National League East with 88-wins while the Atlanta Braves trailed them in second place with 82-wins. The surprise team in the group wasn’t the cream of the east, but...
Mike Francesa lied to David Cone's face this week at the Yankees Pinstripe Bowl golf outing: "I said Harvey reminded me of Seaver last year." Phil Mushnick wants some of that action, pal:

The above graphic appeared on FOX Sports Kansas City telecast of the Royals and Angels game. It has just about everything wrong with it.
Gone are the days of Bryce Haper, he is now Bryce Hunter. The same can be said for Mets phenom pitcher Matt Harvey who is now Matt Jones.
To make matters worse the team logos are all incorrect. Harper, er Hunter… is now a member of the Tigers...
In the realm of broadcasting graphic fails, this one comes out on top.
This graphic was shown during the middle of the Kansas City Royals telecast on Thursday, and it is full of an absurd amount of errors.
The question: “Which young player would you like to start a franchise with?” is posed to viewers. Putting aside that they end their question with a preposition, it’s embarrassing...
Mike Kerwick of The Record, says it’s probably a good thing for the Mets that the Subway Series has been shortened from six games to four this season because it “brings glare” to how bad they are.
This season has become a dark hour for Mets fans – darker, if possible, than any of the past four sub-.500 seasons. There’s Matt Harvey, an every-five-days beacon of hope. And...
Now we completely expect the hapless Kansas City Royals to make blunders on the field, but we expect a little bit of professionalism during their broadcast. Fox Sports Kansas City made one of the most egregious and blatant errors of sports graphics of all-time on Thursday night. During the Royals and Los Angeles Angels game the broadcast team asked the question; “Which Young Player...
Hats off to the Fox Sports Kansas City crew. They may have pulled off the worst broadcast graphic of all-time during Thursday's Royals-Angels game. There are a couple of screwups with the screenshot seen above. First, the crew somehow manages to produce wrong last names for the likes of Bryce HARPER and Matt HARVEY, arguably two of the sport's biggest young stars.Second, the...
This is just painful.
Particularly to those of us who work in the TV business and take pride in making sure anything we put on the air is correct.
For those of you familiar with Sports, take a look at the screen grab on your right.
It's a graphic done for the Fox Sports Kansas City broadcast of Thursday's Royals game.
