Mets acquire OF Emil Brown...

Adam Rubin of the Daily News is reporting that the Mets have acquired outfielder Emil Brown.Brown was playing in AAA for the Padres and will be assigned to Buffalo, it's unclear what the Padres received in return.The 34 year old, right-handed outfield is a lifetime .258 hitter with a .398 Slg. pct., and can play all three outfield positions.In a minor-league transaction, the Mets have acquired outfielder Emil Brown from the Padres. Brown, 34, played 41 games with Portland in the Pacific Coast League and hit .260 with four homers and 22 RBI. He will be assigned to Triple-A Buffalo source Daily News
