In one more grand gesture from the professional Nelson (Figgy) Figueroa to his former team he was the losing pitcher in last nights contest against the Nationals. Nelson pitched 2 innings for the Phillies last night and coughed up 3 walks on long with a game winning hit by Ryan Zimmerman that was a double in the 6-5 victory for the Nationals. Figgy I am sure was a little rusty since he had not pitched recently. Again what a grand gesture by the former Met.Nelson also left his glove with the Mets which is now with Fernando Tatis. Tatis says thank you!
