Jon Heyman is reporting that the Mets are one of six teams interested in trading for Huston Street. I just don't know how such a trade would work out, considering Street's public feud with Bench coach Bob Geren. Sure he doesn't have a say in a trade but how effective would he be in such a situation. Besides it didn't sound like the Mets were very keen on what the Rockies wanted ( Mike Pelfrey). For more on Street see this post .

Mets remain interested in Huston Street
Jon Heyman of SI.com says the Mets, Blue Jays, Orioles, Marlins, Red Sox and Reds are all interested in reliever Huston Street, although Street’s feud with new bench coach Bob Geren is a deterrent for the Mets.
While with Oakland in September 2008, Street had to be separated from then-manager Bob Geren after getting pulled from a game in Detroit.

SCRATCH JOE NATHAN OFF METS WISH LIST, JACK WILSON? REALLY?
Well scratch Joe Nathan off my wish list for Mets closer. Nathan has signed a two year $14.5 mil deal with the Texas Rangers who will now move Netfli Perez back to the starting rotation. I would have loved to have Nathan coming out to save games for the Mets, I really wanted Sandy Alderson to get both Nathan and Jonathan Broxton for the back end of the pen but that won’t happen...
Jose Reyes Seinfeld The Puppy Begs Jose Reyes The Human To Stay With The Mets
Jerry Seinfeld is a Mets fan, for some masochistic reason. Being a Mets fan means always having to say they're sorry. But one silver lining is the very real chance of re-signing Jose Reyes, so that they can pay him $15 million when he's 36 years old, which is the soonest possible time the team will be good again.More »
