According to the New York Post, the Mets will option Nick Evans to Triple A Buffalo to make room for Gary Sheffield. The Mets are expected to make room for Livan Hernandez on Saturday, April 11th....The expected candidates can either be Marlon Anderson (release) or Jeremy Reed...

I expect the Mets to release Marlon Anderson...Jeremy Reed had a good spring and will most likely fill the defensive role that Endy Chavez had last year..
