DALLAS (AP) -- People familiar with the deals say the New York Mets have made a series of transactions, trading center fielder Angel Pagan to San Francisco and signing free-agent relievers Frank Francisco and Jon Rauch.

According to Jim Duquette, of MLB Network Radio, the Mets have agreed to terms on a one-year contract with RHP Jon Rauch.
Duquette says the deal is pending a physical.
Rauch instantly takes over as the Mets tallest player. He went 5-4 with a 4.85 ERA in 53 games for the Blue Jays in 2011. He allowed 11 home runs, 14 walks and 56 hits in 52 innings while striking out 36 batters.

Early in the week, rumors started heating up that the Giants were trying to move Jeff Keppinger, Andres Torres and reliever Ramon Ramirez.
On Tuesday night, they got two-thirds of the way to making that a reality, as San Francisco dealt Ramirez and Torres to the Mets for outfielder Angel Pagan.
