Mets - Signed Cordero

New York Mets - Signed P Chad Cordero to a minor-league contract. Sadly, medical science for treating labrum tears doesn't seem to have the same success rate as treating elbow tears. While Cordero never really had an impressive fastball as closers tend to, his slider still isn't what it was and without the slider, Cordero's not going to get major league hitters out.
