Mets win one for Pedro, scary end but Feliciano locks it down 7-4

Pedro Martinez came out pitching one his better games going 7 innings, giving up 8 hits, 1 run , 1 walk and striking out 4.

Jose Reyes had a eventful night going 2 for 5 with a homer(13) and a triple(14)..He also had 2 RBI's

Ramon Castro started tonight and hit as well going 2 for 3 with a homer and 2 RBI's...

Teams offense pounded out 11 hit total and continue to beat up bad teams...

On the Eddie Kunz front, he came in after not pitching for a while... gave up 3 hits, 3 runs, in a 1/3 of a inning......in the 9th.

Eventually the Mets put out the fire with Joe Smith and Feliciano getting the last 2 outs and the official save..

Mets win their 5th in a row and continue to put pressure on the rest of the NL East.. Marlins won 2-1 over the Cubs and the Phillies are losing 6-3 to the Padres in the 5th as I post this!.
