Well before pitchers and catchers report next month, the Marlins have other business to resolve. Their arbitration hearings with Anibal Sanchez and Emilio Bonifacio are set for Feb. 3 and Feb. 7, respectively. Both are believed to be taking place in Tampa, but some cases usually are heard in Phoenix as well. Sanchez is seeking $8 million, a $ 4.3 million raise from his 2011 salary. The club countered with a $6.9 million offer. Whether Sanchez wins or loses, it looks like he will be the fifth-highest paid player on the team next season behind Carlos Zambrano ($18 million), Hanley Ramirez ($15 million), Josh Johnson ($13.75) and Jose Reyes ($10 million). The Cubs are picking up all but a $3.135 million of Zambrano’s salary. The Marlins aren’t as far apart with Bonifacio. He put in for $2.2 millon, $250,000 more than the Marlins’ number.
