Phil Hughes has not been pitching well at all for the New York Yankees.  He has to worry about that first but now Michael Pineda has made a few starts in the minor leagues without any trouble and he has looked really good.  Pineda was in AA Trenton on Tuesday night and pitched six shutout innings.  He said he thinks he will pitch there again on Sunday.  He may make a couple of more rehab starts and then be ready to go in the big leagues. Hughes has not looked good and even Ivan Nova made a start the other day.  Nova looked good upon his return from AAA Scranton where he also looked good in a few starts there.  Nova had been struggling earlier in the year with the Yankees.  Joe Girardi has been showing faith in Hughes and still to this point has not said he would pull him out of the rotation.
