According to an ESPN report, Michael Young is willing to accept the Rangers decision to play him at third base. Young had requested to be traded just last month and many teams were eying the all-star shortstop.
That's too bad... Even though it was never going to happen, I was hoping he'd end up on the Mets.
On the other end of the spectrum, the Dodgers have released Andruw Jones.
Jones signed a 2-year $36 million deal in December of '07 that turned out to be a complete bust.
The former Brave has struggled tremendously hitting a measly .158 with three home runs in 75 games.
Oh no, here come all the posts saying we should pick him up...
