Found July 31, 2013 on Ted's Army:
via Twitter @Pawsox The Pawsox have posted their lineup card for this afternoon's game and Will Middlebrooks as well as Xander Bogaerts are in the game. So who will drive up 95 after the trade? It looks as if Brock Holt will be the one to get promoted to Boston today. Does it make sense? Sure. Middlebrooks is hitting for some power in Pawtucket, but the average is still at .257. Holt isn't doing much better at .264, but he has had some recent success in Boston. Holt will be back down in Pawtucket before September call-ups. I almost guarantee it.

AAA Skipper: Bogaerts Needs To 'Marinate' More

Bogaerts 'Marinating' In Little RhodyBy all accounts, Gary DiSarcina is a good guy. He was a workmanlike player (mostly for the Angels) and is a managerial star in the Red Sox organization at Pawtucket. Appearing today on WEEI 93.7 FM, the Massachusetts native suggested that 20-year old phenom Xander Bogaerts is just not ready for 'The Show'. In fact, his exact words...

Xander Bogaerts Is the Future of the Boston Red Sox

Some of the Boston Red Sox fans had mixed reactions when the team traded Jose Iglesias in the three-way trade with the Detroit Tigers and Chicago White Sox to quire Jake Peavy. There was a reason the Sox traded away a potential future gold glove award winning in Iglesias and his name is Xander Bogaerts.  Bogaerts is one of the best young shortstop prospects in all of baseball as...

(Thearon W. Will Middlebrooks, Xander Bogaerts at Heart of Interesting Third Base Debate Following Jose Iglesias’ Departure

BOSTON – The Red Sox face a dilemma, albeit a good one. Now that infielder Jose Iglesias has been shipped to the Tigers as part of the Jake Peavy deal, the Red Sox must decide who to turn to as their starting third baseman. Report: Phillies Want Xander Bogaerts From Red Sox to Give Up Cliff Lee

Cliff Lee is undoubtedly the biggest difference-maker among pitchers who could even conceivably be traded by Wednesday. With Lee signed through at least 2015, it’s going to take a pretty penny to pry the left-hander away from the Philadelphia Phillies. The Boston Red Sox could likewise use some pitching help, and the team certainly has the prospects to make a deal happen, if they...

Xander Bogaerts Or Bust: Phillies Cliff Lee Trade With Red Sox Hinges On Prospect

Selling high, the Red Sox land Jake Peavy

Late Tuesday evening, word filtered down that the Boston Red Sox had acquired Jake Peavy from the Chicago White Sox. Upon hearing the news, I was worried. Earlier in the trade period, the White Sox had made it seem like the only way that Jake Peavy was getting dealt to the Boston Red Sox is if they sent big-name prospects, most notably potential stud Xander Bogaerts. It was enough...

Imminent XanderMania At Fenway? In the wake of the trade for Jake Peavy, Red Sox GM Ben Cherignton met with the media.
