It’s been 45 years since we have last seen a player capturing the Triple Crown in the MLB. However, Miguel Cabrera was able to break that streak and he also now has his Detroit Tigers in the World Series. It’s been a while since we have seen someone win the Triple Crown, so we aren’t exactly familiar with what the trophy looks like. However, according to Darren Rovell, it’s actually…well…a crown! Take a look: The trophy will be presented to Cabrera Saturday night in Game 3 of the World Series, which will take place in Detroit, the first home game for the Tigers in the series. It makes since, so the fans are able to see it. We’ll see if it gives the team any more motivation as they look to get their first win of the series after losing two straight in San Francisco.
